The goal was to improve the user experience and showcase PPL’s vast range of formulations in a streamlined, easy-to-navigate way. I aimed to elevate the brand’s presence as a major player in the beauty industry while simplifying the process of browsing over 300 products across five categories.
My approach was to focus on simplicity and efficiency. I wanted to make it easy for customers to find exactly what they were looking for without getting lost in cluttered navigation. The design needed to reflect PPL’s established branding while offering a modern and refined user experience.
Manufacturing Conversions
The challenge for PPL was to present a large product catalog—over 300 formulations—across five distinct categories, all while keeping the navigation clean and intuitive. I designed a system that lets customers easily browse collections within each category, making it effortless to find products. The project also aimed to “legitimize” PPL in a market where many competitors have outdated, uninspiring websites.
I worked within PPL’s established branding, using the Montserrat font and a color scheme of white and green to keep the design cohesive and fresh. The homepage features a dynamic slideshow animation to capture attention, and I incorporated a lookbook for prospects to explore different formulations easily. The entire website was built on Shopify and fully optimized for SEO, ensuring visibility across search engines.

The redesign has received positive feedback from both customers and users, with many mentioning how easy it is to find exactly what they need. The streamlined navigation and effective product categorization have made a significant impact on customer satisfaction and usability.
